"Having this painting has helped tremendously with our grief. Being able to see his little face every day has been a great gift."

Meet the Artist

0E2A1565-Enhanced-NR.jpg

I come from a family of artists.

My grandmother drew animal portraits in pastels, including my own cat. My father was an abstract painter which shaped the way I learned to see. My mother, a fashion artist, taught me to color match before I could read. I didn't choose painting so much as grow into it, the way you grow into a language spoken around you from birth.

These are not traditional photorealistic pet portraits. Each painting is crafted with visible brushwork, texture, and color that interprets as well as reproduces. As I paint, I am searching for a living presence: the spirit and personality that made your companion unmistakably their own.

When I paint your companion, I'm trying to get at the moment that stays with us; a particular stillness, an alertness, the way they held the light. That's what I want the painting to hold.

Each portrait is an intimate collaboration, made for homes where the bond is meant to last.

Each commission is a considered investment, beginning at $3,995. Availability is limited.
