Portraits and Testimonials
We couldn't be happier with Corisa's portrait of Archie. It's a beautifully observed with real depth and character which manages to perfectly capture his little spirit and relaxed calm temperament. Archie is no longer with us but this portrait always reminds me of him and never fails to make me smile.

We got Quincy when he was just five weeks old, just the cutest little fur ball ever. And, like any new parents, we took tons of pictures of this sweet, handsome, adventurous, and very attached-to-us kitten. When we asked Corisa to make a portrait of Quincy, we gave her a photo that we thought captured both his personality and the vulnerability of being such a little guy. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results. This portrait is prominently displayed in our kitchen, and it reminds us every day of the beauty and love and playful shenanigans that entered our lives almost two years ago now. It’s more than a likeness; it’s an expression of our relationship with this wonderful creature.

I was floored by the vibrancy of the colors. I had seen photos of the drafts and finished paintings, so I thought I knew what to expect when I opened the package. I was blown away because they looked ever better in-person. I see my babies’ personalities blossom in these paintings!

I commissioned a portrait of my mom’s beloved cat, Abby, as a way to honor how much she meant to her. Corisa captured Abby’s little personality so perfectly. It was more than just a recreation of a photograph. When my mom saw it, she teared up. It meant a lot to give my mom something that was so meaningful to her.

Corisa painted our buddy Zuki in the summer of 2023. I didn't know it then but that painting would be one that our family would treasure forever. Zuki passed shortly after we received the painting and having it meant more than we could ever imagine. The painting captured Zuki's little spirit in his eyes and facial expressions. We have traveled a great bit this past year and the painting of Zuki is one of the only things we brought with us other than clothing. Having this painting has helped tremendously with our grief and being able to see his little face every day has been a great gift.
